Core Advantages

Six reasons clients choose to work with us.

Documents Written in Plain English

We believe a will or power of attorney should be readable by the person whose affairs it records — not only by a lawyer. Every document we produce is drafted in clear, measured prose, free from unnecessary legal jargon.

Deep Thai Succession Law Knowledge

Our practitioners have focused on Thai inheritance and property law for over a decade. We understand the Civil and Commercial Code's succession provisions, Land Department requirements, and the particular position of foreign nationals holding interests in Thailand.

Cross-Jurisdiction Coordination

For clients with assets in more than one country, we coordinate with counsel overseas to ensure that Thai and foreign wills work together rather than against each other. This service is not offered by most single-jurisdiction practices.

Senior Practitioner on Every File

We do not assign estate files to junior staff and review them at the end. Every client works directly with a senior practitioner who understands their full situation from the first conversation through to signing.

Two Drafting Iterations Included

Clients on the Mid-Sized and Multi-Jurisdiction programmes receive two rounds of drafting as part of the engagement. We expect that seeing a first draft will prompt questions and refinements — that process is built in, not charged separately.

PDPA-Compliant Data Handling

All client information is handled in accordance with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act. We explain clearly what we hold, why we hold it, and how long we retain it — and we do not share client information with third parties without consent.

In Detail

What each advantage means in practice.

Professional Expertise

Practitioners who have read the Code, not just the commentary.

Thai succession law is not a field where general practitioners naturally develop deep knowledge. It requires sustained engagement with Book VI of the Civil and Commercial Code, with Land Department circulars, and with the growing body of case law from the Thai courts. Our senior practitioner has worked in this area since before the current PDPA framework was introduced, and keeps current with every significant legislative or regulatory change.

  • Active Lawyers Council of Thailand membership
  • Focused practice — not a general firm
  • 15+ years in succession and estate law

"An estate plan prepared without genuine knowledge of Thai law is not a plan — it is a document that may create more complexity than it resolves."

— Ayutthaya Counsel, practice philosophy

  1. Initial consultation — understanding your situation
  2. Scope agreement — which engagement is appropriate
  3. Structured conversation — intentions and priorities
  4. First draft — prepared by senior practitioner
  5. Client review and refinements
  6. Final draft and witnessed signing
Our Process

A structured sequence, not an ad hoc service.

Estate documentation is not something that should be rushed. Our process begins with a genuine conversation about your circumstances — not a checklist of fields to complete. We then agree what engagement is appropriate and structure the work accordingly. Clients always know where they are in the process and what comes next.

Client Service

Attentive, calm, and responsive.

Estate matters often arise at sensitive times — following a health event, a family change, or the sale of a major asset. We understand that the context is rarely straightforward. Our team responds to enquiries promptly, explains matters clearly, and does not treat a client's questions as interruptions to billable work.

  • All enquiries answered within one working day
  • Signing arranged at a time and place that suits you
  • Post-signing document storage available
Value & Pricing

Fixed fees, clearly stated before any work begins.

We publish our fees and do not supplement them with add-on charges for drafting iterations, signing attendance, or correspondence. The price stated at engagement is the price charged. For complex multi-jurisdiction work, we provide a detailed written scope before any work begins — you know what the engagement covers and what, if anything, lies outside it.

  • ฿3,800 — Estate Plan Outline
  • ฿15,800 — Mid-Sized Documentation Package
  • ฿38,200 — Multi-Jurisdiction Family Programme

What Sets Us Apart

Features of our service that are not widely available.

Letter of Wishes as Standard

Unlike most practices where this is an optional extra or omitted entirely, we include a letter of wishes in the Mid-Sized Documentation Package as a matter of course. We have seen the difference it makes to families navigating an estate after a loss.

Family Memoranda for Multi-Jurisdiction Clients

For families with complex holdings, we prepare written memoranda explaining the structure to family members who are not legal professionals. These documents sit alongside the formal instruments and give the next generation the context they will need.

Overseas Counsel Liaison Included

In the Multi-Jurisdiction Programme, liaison with overseas counsel is part of the engagement — not a separate instruction or an additional fee. We manage that coordination so that the client receives a coherent overall picture, not a series of disconnected local opinions.

Signing at a Location Convenient to You

Witnessed signing does not have to take place in our offices. Where a client is unable to travel or would prefer an alternative venue, we arrange signing at a suitable location. This is especially valued by older clients and those who are unwell.
